Caner Sahin explains how transparency, trust and clear agreements strengthen contract management at LangeLand Hospital.
Caner Sahin joined LangeLand Hospital as an internal coordinator on 1 March 2021, after working at the same site as a project manager for a cleaning company from 2013 to 2021. He describes the offer as an appreciation of his commitment, reliability, honesty and the fulfilment of agreements.
In his current role he manages contracts and collaborates with Consensus Group to ensure successful contract management. His main advice to others: there should be clearer agreements between client and contractors.
Sahin recommends investing in employee training and repeating courses regularly, while avoiding the deployment of inexperienced workers in specialised departments such as operating rooms, intensive care and accident and emergency. He identifies his core achievement as building transparency, mutual trust and compliance with agreements within the sector.
